Baptism

Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” Acts 2:38

We offer baptism events to our church family a couple times a year. At Summit Church AK we believe that baptism is the outward expression of your internal commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ. Mark 16:16 says, “Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned.” 

This is a commitment that should not be taken lightly, and needs to be fully understood by the person making the decision to be baptized. Therefore, baptisms are offered at Summit Church AK to those at least 8 years old and up. If you are wishing to be baptized we ask you to  join us for our baptism class, held prior to the event date. All information, dates, times, etc., will be given in the Registration for the next baptism event. 

“What are you waiting for? Get up and be baptized. Have your sins washed away by calling on the name of the Lord.” Acts 22:16
