Power Packs

Summit Church AK is a proud partner of the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District, and we have committed to ensuring our local students do not go hungry! Many students don’t have access to weekend nourishment, and this is where we step in to fill the gap. We collect kid-friendly food that can be easily prepared, filling each Power Pack bag with enough food for an entire weekend, then deliver them to local schools, including North Pole High School and our partner school, North Pole Middle School, throughout the school year to be distributed to food-insecure students.

Ready to help fill Power Packs? Every Power Pack contains 2 full days of meals and snacks; here's a list of needed items to make it possible:

Fruit Cups

Applesauce Cups or Applesauce Squeeze Packets

Cup o Noodles (please, cups only; no ramen in square packages)

Mac n Cheese Cups

Chef Boyardee Microwavable Cups

Vienna Sausage (Individual Cans)

Snack Foods (individual sized serving packs in the following): 

Cookies (Oreo, Chips Ahoy, Teddy Grahams, Biscoff)

Food Boxes

In partnership with the Fairbanks Food Bank, emergency food boxes are available at Summit Church AK twice a week, all year long!

Boxes Available: Thursdays

Call 907.488.9084 between 10am and noon to register for a box; pick up is at the Summit Outreach Center (3340 Badger Road) at 2pm.

Please be ready to let us know how many people are in your household when you call; boxes are prepared by family size.
