“The Wednesday evening prayer studies at North Pole Worship Center have shown me ways I can pray more effectively. I’ve learned to be more specific in my requests to my Heavenly Father. When a child cries out, we ask them to tell us what the matter is. Then we talk it out with them and try to explain how the situation can be made better. As God is omniscient, He already knows our problems; but, He wants us to voice them. By doing so it will clarify and define our needs and make us more alert to His answers. Since my husband passed away, I’ve been praying fervently for God to reveal what his new plan for me is. I am anxious to get started on the plan and I have some ideas. However, I have not heard from Him. At last, I remembered it is God’s plan I am talking about- it’s His plan for how He wants me to serve Him in our Tanana Valley community. I continue to pray for His revelation, but not with the anxiety I was experiencing. His plan will be shown to me in His time.” -Karen Tanner Philippians 4:6-7 “Don’t worry about anything; instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace which exceeds anything we can understand: his peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” (NLT)
