Wiggle Room (3 Months - 3 Years)
Our Wiggle Room is a multi-purpose area designed specifically for the needs of our nursery aged children and their parents. This engaging play space houses our nursery, with incredible Dream Team volunteers who look after children 3 months to 3 years old. Parents are also welcome to this space with their littles , and enjoy the service on our big screen television. And in the back, a quiet and peaceful Nursing Mother’s Room, with a rocking chair and changing table, is available for the private moments needed with babies.
PreK - 5th Grade
Summit Kids welcomes all 4 year olds through 5th graders! Kids will attend worship with their parents, and then meet the amazing Summit Kids Dream Team volunteers at the barn doors near the Kids Store and Check-in at dismissal, just prior to the day’s message While in classrooms and the Kids Auditorium, children will enjoy a great Bible lesson together, complete with games, activities, crafts, and SO MUCH FUN.
The Gospel Project
Summit Kids utilizes “The Gospel Project for Kids” as our Sunday and Midweek curriculum. The Gospel Project is a chronological study of the Bible that covers Genesis through Revelation over the course of three years. Each week, we discuss a “Christ Connection” that ties the lesson we covered to Jesus Christ, emphasizing that the Bible may be many books, but it’s all part of one big story and plan that God has for us! Sundays at Summit Kids
Summit Kids is provided at all 10am Sunday Worship Experiences. When you arrive at Summit, stop by the Summit Kids Check-In Station in the lobby to receive a name tag for each child attending Summit Kids that week. After Worship in the Main Auditorium with parents, all kids will meet their teachers at the barn doors in the lobby, then head upstairs for the large group session, followed by small groups, broken up by ages. Parents, please pick your kids up at their classrooms upstairs at the conclusion of the service.
Kids Store and First Time Guests
Kids Cash is earned by bringing your Bible, bringing a friend, reciting the unit’s Bible verse, or attending Summit Kids for the first time. Kids Cash can then be spent at the Kids Store in the lobby. The more cash you collect, the bigger or more items you can buy! First Time Guests can also swing by the Kids Store to receive a special gift from Summit Church AK.
Meet Dream Team Summit Kids Volunteer, Pam Miller!
Pam is such a blessing to the Summit Kids Team. Her sweet spirit, and infectious love for Jesus is something that we can all aspire to! She has a heart for serving the future generation of the church.
Pam is one of the Sunday school teachers in our Purple Class for 2nd and 3rd graders. She has a special way of bringing the Bible lesson to life for her class. She has a gift for making memorable activities that really make the lessons stick with you.
Pam was also one of the panelists at our Parenting Panel in January. She and her husband shared from their hearts, their passion for raising kids for Christ, and to be future leaders.
Thank you for serving, Pam! We appreciate you pouring out into our kids and families in positive, uplifting, and encouraging ways!
